Hope Slide Viewpoint overlooks the slide area. There is a large parking area and EV charging stations. As you enter the rest area off the Crowsnet Hwy. there is a paved road that ascends up a hill were the viewing area is located There is sign.

Hope Slide Viewpoint is a large area with plenty of parking, picnic tables, bathrooms and a sign of history explaining how the slide happened.
Installed in 2018 are EV charging stations: Fast Chargers and a level 2. They are free to use.
"B.C. drivers will have access to 11 new public electric vehicle (EV) charging stations added to highway rest areas throughout the province this fall (2018). Three of these stations are situated in rest areas on the Yellowhead Highway running through the North Thompson Valley; Fish Trap, Little Fort, and Wire Cache."
