A brass disk embedded in the sidewalk of Owings Mills Boulevard. Mark is at the southwest end of the bridge over Scotts Level Branch. To reach from Liberty Road (Maryland Route 26) turn onto Owings Mills Boulevard heading north. Mark will be about 0.5 mile, on the left. Closest safe parking will be on Winands Road, the next intersection after the mark, to the north.
To walk to the mark from Winands Road and Owings Mills Boulevard, go south on Owings Mills Boulevard to the southwest end of the bridge as noted above.
The datasheet for this mark is not individually viewable. To view what Baltimore County shows for the mark, go to the Baltimore County site at (
visit link) and under Marker Id in the search area enter 'CBM877’ .
The Baltimore County web site does not include coordinates for this mark. I found it by eyeballing the location on the map. Coordinates posted here are the geotag from the closeup photograph taken with the camera of my Garmin Oregon 650t GPS receiver, and are very accurate.
NOTE: The bridge abutments are dated 2015, and the sidewalk appears to be of the same age. Presumably the mark was placed at the same time.
