This giant wheelchair is not only big it honors Olympian athlete Rick Hansen. Who at the age of 15 was involved in a accident and he sustained a spinal cord injury and became a paraplegic.

Rick embarked on his Man in Motion World Tour on March 21, 1985, in Vancouver, British Columbia. His goal was to circle the globe in his wheelchair. After his 26 month trek, he logged more than 40,000 km (24,855 miles) through 34 countries on four continents before crossing Canada. He returned to Vancouver's BC Place Stadium on May 22, 1987. He was successful in raising $26 million for spinal cord research and quality of life initiatives.

The wheelchair is made of tubular steel and is about 5' feet in height.
