At the main promenade of Saint-Raphaël along the Mediterranean coast, there is the roundabout "Rond-Point J.F. Kennedy". It is located directly at the city's harbor "Le Vieux Port". Although Kennedy probably never came to visit Saint-Raphaël, the roundabout is dedicated to the famous US-president. Not only the common street signs but also a stone plate embedded in the ground inside the roundabout honor Kennedy.
