Bronze bust of the horse "Falada" in the Schloßgasse in Gotha.

At the entrance of the Schloßgasse the bronze bust of the horse "Falada" hangs on the wall of the passage. The bust was made by Christiane Möbus in 1994 / 1997, is painted and was installed here as part of the Gotha sculpture project.

The horse figure Falada comes from the fairy tale "The Goose Girl". In the course of the fairy tale, the head of the talking horse is chopped off and hung up at a gate by the butcher.
