The stained white marble memorial in the South Bowenfels Old Presbyterian Cemetery has a square sectioned base of four tiers, and a cylindrical upper with an angled broken top edge. The 'shoulders' of the tiers have considerable staining. On the southern side of the upper square base is the following lead lettering inscription:

IN
Loving Memory of
Walter Thompson
Died 17th March 1915,
Aged 28 Years.
On another side (eastern) of the base of this memorial is a leaded inscription for Edwin Thompson, who died on 17th July 1916, aged 67 years - so not too likely the main reason for this memorial column to have a broken top. [Presumably the father of Walter Thompson.] And then there is below that a much smaller rectangular white tablet for Margaret J Thompson, who died 15 February 1955, aged 99 years - direct relationship to Edwin was uncertain by looking at the memorial - whom Findagrave weblink below states that Edwin and Margaret are Walter's parents.
