"Si tratta di una tra le ultime torri medievali della città demolite tra la fine del Settecento e l’inizio dell’Ottocento di cui è conservato solo il basamento. Il nome si deve al fatto che la torre era parte della casa del giureconsulto Giovan Giacomo Torresino e della loro famosa famiglia."
