This is a fine, sandy beach, easily reached from Beach Road and the car park near the Surf Lifesaving Club. It extends from Seal Rocks in the north, to Yacaaba Headland in the southeast, with 14 wide kilometres of lovely white sand.
It is good for walking, swimming in summer, surfing, with some sections for dogs to go 'Off-Leash'. The SLSC patrols south Bennetts Beach from October to April. Mungo Brush Road leads to Dark Point, where if you have the appropriate permit (and vehicle) you can access parts of the beach with your 4WD.
