The Cherokee National Supreme Court Museum is the oldest government building in Oklahoma. After falling into disrepair, the building was restored to its original appearance by the Cherokee Nation in 2008 to house this museum. Items on display date from the 1840s and reflect the history of the Cherokee Nation after the Trail of Tears and their arrival in Oklahoma.
