The line known as the Birkenhead Railway ran from Hooton to West Kirby and is now a 'rails to trails' cycle and walking trail. It passes through the former railway station.
The station has been restored to have the look and feel of the day the station was permanently closed to passengers in 1956 and is open to any visitors as well as people walking the trail.
As part of the display are wagons loaded with milk churns ready for loading onto trains, just as they were in 1956.
