This is one of several aluminium benches at the Coomba Park Cenotaph, tucked up and away from the quiet Moorooba Road. It is a bit tricky finding your way through to the Cenotaph area, as the roadside is bounded by a wall of bushes, with a small clearing entrance downhill of the Cenotaph (ie, to the north). The grassy clearing around the paved apron and seating area is well maintained. There are two rows of three benches, separated by a small aisle. They are approximately 3 metres long, with a slightly narrower extruded aluminium backrest, to the slightly broader extruded aluminium seat. There are three broad, curved aluminium struts from under the seat, to the back of the backrest. All the aluminium is anodised, and the extruded slats have nice plastic caps on the ends. The three posts are bolted to the paved area. The benches are looking south to the memorials and flag poles. Unfortunately the aluminium is a 'good' heat-sink, so on a cold day it may be 'sucking' the heat out of you, or, on a hot day it may be branding you!

This particular Dedicated Bench is the front one on the left-hand side when looking to the black marble memorial. When looking at the bench there are two brushed stainless steel plaques pop-riveted to the left-hand end of the backrest (when looking away from the memorial). Their etched inscriptions follow:

On the central strut that supports the backrest is a further aluminium plaque, also held in place with four pop-rivets (a little bit corroded) which has the following simple inscription:
