Le parc du Vaisseau d'Or est situé à l’angle des rues de Marseille et du Trianon. Il dispose d’une superficie de plus de 10 000 mètres carrés et a nécessité un investissement de 1,5 M$.
On y retrouve des aires de jeu pour les enfants de 2 à 5 ans et les 5 à 12 ans, des terrains de volleyball de plage et de pétanque, des jeux d’eau pour les tout-petits, un parcours d’exercice pour les adultes, une aire de détente et de pique-nique, ainsi que des sentiers d’accès et de promenade.
La plantation de 64 nouveaux arbres, un chalet de parc et un système d’éclairage complètent l’aménagement des lieux.
Le nom du parc rend hommage au poète québécois Émile Nelligan, à qui l’on doit le poème le Vaisseau d’Or, qui séjourna à l’Hôpital Louis-H.-Lafontaine (aujourd’hui devenu l’Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal), une installation voisine du parc.

The Vaisseau d'Or Park is located at the corner of the streets of Marseille and Trianon. It has an area of more than 10,000 square meters and required an investment of $ 1.5 million.
