Chimney of the listed crematorium on the main cemetery of Gotha.
The crematorium, built in 1878, consists of an approximately 50-metre-long columned building made of Seeberger sandstone in the neoclassical style. The elongated main building has two temple-like boundary buildings connected by a colonnade and crowned by triangular gables. These temples are accessible via several steps and a vestibule opened in three round arches. In the western temple is the mortuary, in the eastern the crematorium and the funeral chapel. The chimney of the crematorium is attached behind it in the courtyard area.
