This tall, brown-brick, cathedral looking church, had the Foundation Stones laid in December, 1910 - per the two pink tablets on the front wall. It was formerly a Methodist Church, until 1977, when many Methodist, Presbyterian and Congregational Church amalgamated to form the Uniting Church of Australia. As has been too common in rural areas, the congregation numbers are diminishing. The two tablets have the following inscriptions:

To the Glory of God

This stone was laid by

DAVID HARTLEY Esq.

Dec 7th 1910.

And the right-hand tablet reads:

To the Glory of God

This stone was laid by

A. C. VENESS Esq. J.P.

Dec 7th 1910.

Next door is the 'Dated' Uniting Church Hall, on the corner of Northbrook Lane. Which would have also been built for the Methodist congregation.
