The two-storey dark brown brick tenement building has about a two foot air gap between it and the neighbouring 'Dated' Imperial Hotel - 1900. The ground floor windows are of the period, with small glass panels at the ceiling height, and a recessed entry to the store. There are two plain sash windows symmetrically placed for the upper floor. A small Corinthian style moulding is on the roof facade, with the Dated '1904' on a section of dark brown globe amongst fancy mouldings.
