Huize Warmelo, a small castle near the village of Diepenheim, has gardens covering a total of 7 hectares. Over the course of 4 centuries these have become what they are today.
There is a well garden with an adjoining swamp area, an English garden, a French garden, a pinetum and a bird garden.
A group of three sequoias are gathered together in a part of the English park garden.
We have tried to estimate the height, diameter and age as well as possible. We come to the following values: Height about 45 meters, diameter about 2 meters and the age will be around one hundred years.
In another part of the park there are also 3 sequoias together, one of which is in very bad shape.
