The archway at the entrance reads "Rest Haven Cemetery Established 1882". Find A Grave lists the name as "Flatonia Cemetery African American" and Fayette County History Website calls it "Flatonia Black Cemetery".

Located on State Highway 95 south of the Oak Hill Cemetery. The graves from the Old Sacred Heart Cemetery, located at the corner of Fair Park Road and First Street, were moved here in 1933.
