A hard-working duo - this Farmall Model H and attached drill are now retired, but look as though they could be fired up and going once again!

The Farmall Model H tractor was a workhorse in its day. The Model H was originally sold for about $2,000. The "H" designation indicates it was built for row-crops. According to the ranch-hand, it is a 1939/40 year model. It has a gas engine and rubber tires. The drill behind it has precious little identification markers on it that are visible or accessible. Mostly likely, this drill was used for planting crops like corn and cotton. Right now, there is a huge fountain grass clump that is growing between the tractor and the tongue of the drill. Please do not disturb that plant.
