From an information panel on site:
Jagpanzer IV
This German Jagpanzer ("hunting tank") combined a powerful gun with heavy armour and a low inconspicuous profile.
Germany built a range of vehicles like this during the Second World War. Their design eliminated the weight and complexity of a turret, and allowed larger more powerful weapons to be mounted. The Jagpanzer IV carried a 75 mm gun that could destroy almost any Allied tank, even at long ranges. Its low profile and heavy armour made it difficult to detect and to defeat. This example built towards the end of the war was captured in Germany in 1945.
From the Canadian War Museum Website:
The Jagdpanzer ("tank hunter") was a lethal German self-propelled anti-tank gun, or tank destroyer. Canadian armour encountered early models in Normandy, including some with the 12th SS Panzer Division, but fought numerous improved versions during the Rhineland campaign of 1945.
