Along
the Mount Lindsay Road is this Plank Bridge, over the Boonoo Boonoo 'River'. Not too surprisingly, the Bridge Load Limit is 'only' rated at 10 tonne gross.
It looks like earlier piers (probably hardwood) have been removed, and the continuous-span, (four-spans) hardwood beams have been placed on newer concrete piers. As the bridge is so low to the underlying 'river' I didn't get a chance to get under, to check out the sub-structure, but cross-beams are over the logs, with longitudinal planks bolted to those.
