This trail used to go around a pond. This bridge crosses one of the streams leading into the pond. There is another stream that used to have a crossing, but no longer does.

"The 4H Education Center at Finch Hollow is a natural history museum and Education Center operated by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County.

Approximately 1 mile of nature trails wind through field, pond and wooded habitats. Trails and grounds are open to the public daily, year-round, during daylight hours, free of charge.

Museum hours vary; checking ahead is suggested. Admission is free."
