This Firehouse is right on the Great Western Highway, in the town of Blackheath. It is a light-brown brick walled single-storey building, with a colorbond upper and low-angled roof. Two aluminium/Perspex panelled roller doors face the Highway, with a tiled panel between. A two metre flat awning extends over the vehicle entry, with walls to the side. A short concrete drive extends to the bitumen of the highway.
