Bridge Hunter

"Through truss bridge over Colorado River on TX-29 below Buchanan Dam. Built 1937 by the Austin Bridge Company. It consists of four riveted, 8-panel Parker through trusses. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996."


The bridge replaced the old Bluffton bridge that was inundated when they completed Lake Buchanan.
