From an information panel on site:
M38A1 with 106 mm Recoilless Rifle
This M38A1, an upgraded version of the 1940's Jeep, carries a 106 mm recoilless rifle that could be used against tanks and other targets.
Mounting this weapon on a vehicle greatly increased its mobility, and allowed it to move quickly after firing. When fired, it created a large cloud of smoke, dust, and flame which gave away the gun's position. Canadian soldiers trained to "shoot and scoot", relocating rapidly after firing to escape enemy retaliation.
From the Canadian War Museum Website:
The M38A1, an upgraded version of the 1940s Jeep, saw action during the Korean War. A waterproof electrical system and other features allowed it to cross shallow riverbeds with the engine completely submerged. This one carries a 106mm recoilless rifle.
