Because this large (15' x 60', approximately) mural resides on the wall of a building that is within an "artsy" area of town, the small details seem to make a bit of sense.
The largest and most noticeable feature of this piece is its blueness - several shades of blue, from light to dark, are utilized in the total background. Sprinkled throughout the mural are small "tools of the trade" in the artist's world, such as a ladder, a paint trowel, and a dripping can of paint, amongst other small items added into the blue background.
This is yet another welcome addition into the growing number of murals popping up all over the downtown Phoenix area.
