A grove of fifteen Crimson Maples in Manville Veterans Common is dedicated to fifteen service members who died in World War I, World War II, and the Korean War. The small public park just south of the Blackstone River and the local Post Office in Manville, Rhode Island, is also home to the Alfred U. Menard Bandstand gazebo. The octagonal structure on the east end of the green sits among the trees and memorial monuments.
Two engraved dedication plaques of gray granite are embedded flush within the center of the gazebo floor. The north marker refers to the surrounding trees dedicated to Manville citizens who were wartime casualties; the southern plaque denotes the bandstand's honoree. They read:
