Sound like an interest for you? Just off Rittenhouse Rd near its intersection with Combs Rd. The farm has been established to preserve a way of life that is being pushed further and further into the desert by urban development. When you stop here, you have the opportunity to step back in time - if only for an hour or half a day or an entire day!

In the 1970s, the Schnepfs moved to what was a desert community of row crop farms. Soon, they opened a vegetable stand to sell fresh vegetables to the public. That building is now the bakery/store. As the public came out for the fresh vegetables, the Schnepfs offered self picking opportunities for corn and peaches - and so it began! They sold off some of the 5,000 acres they were farming and agri-tourism was born!

Country Thunder had its beginning at Schnepf Farms (now in Florence). Other attractions were added: petting zoo, carousel rides, landscaping . . . Visitors began to stay a little longer to experience the petting zoo, play yard, narrow gauge train and carousel. A museum was added and a wedding venue - and now, glamping!

Today Schnepf Farms hosts over a quarter million people throughout the year. Visitors come to the farm for festivals, events, weddings, educational tours, pick your own vegetables, to pick peaches, shop, foodie events or just to enjoy the beautiful feeling of walking on a true family farm. Be one of them!
Product: known for its peaches and u-pick gardens
