Reeds in de 12e eeuw werd de kerk vermeld. De romaanse westtoren is in zandsteen opgetrokken, maar het portaal is van latere tijd. De spits van de toren wordt gevormd door een tentdak.
In 1730 werd het schip in laatgotische stijl gerestaureerd, waarbij tufsteen werd gebruikt, terwijl de lagere zijbeuken in silex werden uitgevoerd.
Op 10 augustus 1914 werd de kerk geteisterd door brand en de verwoeste delen werden hersteld in neogotische stijl

L'église a été mentionnée dès le 12ème siècle. La tour ouest romane est construite en grès, mais le portail date d'une époque ultérieure. La flèche de la tour est formée par un toit de tente.
En 1730, le navire fut restauré dans le style gothique tardif avec du tuf, tandis que les bas-côtés latéraux étaient en silex.
Le 10 août 1914, l'église est ravagée par un incendie et les parties détruites restaurées dans un style néo-gothique.

The church was mentioned as early as the 12th century. The Romanesque west tower is built in sandstone, but the portal is from a later time. The spire of the tower is formed by a tent roof.
In 1730 the ship was restored in late Gothic style, using tuff, while the lower side aisles were made in silex.
On August 10, 1914, the church was ravaged by fire and the destroyed parts were restored in neo-Gothic style
