Situated on a small area of ground, between the pavement and a local social club, boundary wall, is a graveled area with a border line of wood posts, there is a wooden seat. Within this area is a small boat.
With the adjacent social club associated with the Royal Naval Association.
I suspect the boat and seat was placed there as somewhere to sit and contemplate, as a memorial, and to make use of the small area of waste ground near to the entrance.
