Two stories, weatherboarded frame, cross gable plan, asphalt cross gable roof, hip roof porch supported by chamfered posts with brackets and sawtooth trim along frieze, 1/1 fenestration with bracketed lintels, transom, brackets and vergeboard in gables, stone foundation, corbeled chimney, rear shed roof addition. Within the district three large frame houses ... 108 South Sam Davis Avenue (#12), ... were built on similar two story cross gable plans. All feature one story three quarter length hip roof porches, stone foundations, and interior corbeled brick chimneys. One more house, a small cross gable cottage with decoration influenced."
