This War Memorial at Yarck, in northern Victoria, is specifically for World War One locals.

This memorial is a marble statue of a Digger (ANZAC soldier) on a granite pillar with bluestone steps. There is a fence of rough granite posts with metal chain around it. It has gilded inscriptions on the four faces. The side facing the road has the following inscription.

Gobur, Terip, Ruffy, Cathkin,
and Koriella.

To The Memory Of
the
Fallen Soldiers of this District
and in
Honor of their Comrades
who also served in the
Great War.
1914 -- 1919.

I was to meet 'my crew' at the cafe in Yarck, and was a few minutes early, so checked out the potential Waymarks! [Then headed off for a week of camping with a few thousand others, closer to Molesworth.]
