The suspension bridge was built in 2004 - 2005 and it was opened for traffic on December 2, 2005. The span of the bridge over Elbe river is 99 meters and its width is 3.5 meters. It serves for pedestrians and cyclists to cross the river and to reach the main cyclist path along Sázava river.
