A sculpture of a street organ, commonly called a hurdy-gurdy, is being cranked by an organ grinder in the sculpture called the "Hurdy-Gurdy". It is located in the Swinburne Row Shopping Center west of Thames Street in downtown Newport, RI.

A 6' by 2.25' by 5' bronze sculpture of an organ grinder playing a street organ along with monkey stands on a 5' by 2.75' by 5' concrete base. The organ grinder is playing a crank organ with his right hand. The monkey his holding a cup for donations.

The bronze plaque at the base of the sculpture is inscribed:
