Gass House is near Chambersburg, about 1/4 mile East of I-81 and US 30 junction in Guilford Township, Franklin Township.
The Gass House is a 2 1/2-story farmhouse which was built about 1760. It is constructed of fieldstone in the random course method.
The Gass House was built by William Gass on the plantation names "Union." A fine example of Scotch-Irish farmhouse architecture.
