Currently, there are less than 50 graves in this newer memorial cemetery. It is one of several just south east of the town of Beresford, SD.
The cross itself was constructed in the 1980s and is build of wood, 8x8 timbers, about 35 feet tall.
It sits in the approximate center of the cemetery and stands on a concrete pedestal.
Two entrances are available and a gravel road circles through the cemetery and both entrances can be used as exits as well.
The cross is out in the open and can be seen from a distance, designating the area as a Christain cemetery.
