This is a big mountain which at over 1650 meters asl requires a climb of about 1450 metres and a roundtrip of about 18kms. The beacon appears to have snapped halway up the concrete baseand the top is lying on the ground. Views from here stretch to the Langeberg mountains near Swellendam, the Hex river mountains to the West and Babylonstoren in the South near Hermanus.

Ideally, you should try to take photos at the actual beacon location, but if that isn't possible (private property, terrain, etc), then photos taken from a distance are also welcome, especially if the beacon is visible in the photo.
