ANWB Monument Plaque reads:

"City Pump
Hardstone drinking water pump in rococo style.
Made in 1755, reinstalled in 1960."




Information (visit link) about the City Pumps in Zwolle:

"The most eye-catching is the pump next to the church on the Grote Markt. Built in 1755 in rococo style, this city pump served in earlier years in Luttekestraat, a few hundred meters from this location. The pump has two bronze outlets in the shape of an animal head. The pump is also equipped with two metal cranks. For whatever reason, this pump was placed next to the Church in 1960."
