A HOME STATION

This marker was placed at the corner of the old Marshall County Courthouse in 1931, which would have been the 70 year anniversary of the end of the Pony Express.

Marysville, Kansas was the first home station for the Pony Express, where riders would change and a new rider would continue taking the mail down the line.
