The simplistic Homemade Mailbox is painted stark white, with the address number clearly seen on the side of the 'Trailer'. It looks like it is made from rectangular mild-steel hollow-section RHS, with a rectangular end-piece welded to the front, and a shorter piece welded at the back to help retain any delivered mail. A metal section is above the back, so there may have been a flap, to provide better protection from the weather. There are four oxy-cut, black-painted wheels attached to the base of the trailer, and the mailbox is securely welded to a steel bracket atop a steel post.
