Canney Hill Cemetery is a small, town-owned cemetery located in Center Harbor, New Hampshire. Sergent Major John Hawkins of the Massachusetts Regiment is buried in the cemetery.
An internet search didn't help with much from this Revolutionary War veteran. Searches found a Hawkins in a Vermont unit and a Canadian unit - nothing from Massachusetts. That said, he still deserves a notice of the grave site.
