This Harris County Flood Control District's Floodplain Reference Mark is embedded in a concrete culvert on the NW side of a road bridge crossing one of Cary Bayou's drainage ditches on Crosby Cedar Bayou Road, just .7mi South of IH-10 and 150 feet North of its intersection with Barkaloo Road. The disk is a few inches south of the culvert's protective wall.
Unlike some other floodplain reference marks maintained by the Harris County Flood Control District, this station does not have a "Q 112" stamping, which would stand for "Stream# Q112-05-00". The station does, however, include its own unique stamping for identification: "160230".
