Loving Husband, Dad, Grandpa
LEONARD V. HUNN
JUNE 24, 1933
AUG. 31. 2011
Still Playin'
In The Dirt

Leonard V. Hunn , 78 of Troy,MO passed away on August 31, 2011, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 24, 1933 the son of Vernette and Vera (Groce) Hunn. After attending the local schools Leonard went on to graduate from Wright City High School.

Then on November 23, 1962 he married the love of his life, Patsy McKeinzie. Together they had two children, one daughter Dawn and a son, Kenneth. Leonard enjoyed every minute spent with his beautiful family.

He and Kenneth would go out fishing and deer hunting whenever they could. He worked his entire life as a heavy equipment engineer, and was a proud member of Union Local 513. Leonard loved to play in the dirt, bull-dozing, brush-hogging, you name it he did it. He was quick with a joke, and always had a smile on his face. Hard work was his middle name and his latest project was beginning work on the new Moscow Mills overpass.

Leonard gave everyone a fair shake and sought to see the best in everyone. He was a loving husand,[sic] father, and grandfather, his grandchildren were his pride and joy. Leonard will be remembered lovingly by all those who knew him. He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 49 years, Patsy Hunn of Troy, one daughter, Dawn Hunn and husband David of Troy, 6 grandchildren: Matthew McGhee, Jason McGhee, Amber Kruczynski, Stephanie Hunn, Lacey Hunn, Penny Kruczynski, as well as many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his only son, Kenneth Hunn who passed away on August 10, 2000. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral & Cremation Center. Chaplain Sue Weitz to officiate.Interment will follow in Zoar Cemetery, Troy,MO. Visitation to be held also on Friday, from 11:00 until 1:00 service time at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral & Cremation Center, Troy.
