Sie wurde am 1. April 1895 zum 80. Geburtstag von Otto von Bismarck gepflanzt.

The Bismarck oak between Oberkotzau and Untreusee was chosen as the thickest oak in the district of Hof.
The circumference was 4.68 m (as of April 2019)
It was planted on 1 April 1895 on the 80th birthday of Otto von Bismarck.
