Mockingbird Station is an outdoor mall with plenty of shops and restaurants, and some folks even live here in upscale loft apartments. It is conveniently located next to the Mockingbird Station DART rail line.

This one is about average in size, with a few comfy chairs in the back, and mostly tables and chairs for seating. There are also a few places to sit outside in front. This is a good place for people to come and work on their laptops, as there are power strips to be found down low around the front and one side of the store.

Review:
I was doing a walk around Dallas today, before the storms hit, and decided to come up this way to take a break. I avoid this area when I'm driving, as traffic and people are nuts, but the DART line made it easy and stress-free. I'm not a city rat by any means, but I saw a few places here at Mockingbird Station that Mrs. QDV would like, especially the Dallas Grilled Cheese Company, so there probably will be a return visit. As for my Starbucks experience, it was great. Lots of people in the service industry just don't get that, even if they're busy (which they were), take a moment to say "Hello, we'll be right with you" even if it's mechanical and perfunctory. Gent behind the counter did just that, finished up what he was doing, and took care of me. I sat and enjoyed my cold drink before hopping back on the train and going back downtown.
