BUILT IN 1848 A.D. BY LEVI BECKNER
THIS IS THE ONLY BRICK BUILDING TO SURVIVE THE CIVIL WAR.
IT HOUSED MERCANTILE, NEWSPAPER, THE FIRST BANK 1884-1910, ABSTRACT, CAFE, AND INSURANCE BUSINESSES.
