Leoš Janácek (3. cervence 1854 Hukvaldy – 12. srpna 1928 Ostrava) byl svetove uznávaný ceský skladatel klasické hudby. Prestože patrí do generace ceské hudební moderny, je jeho styl velmi osobitý a originální. Je cenen predevším pro nezvyklou melodiku, vycházející z lidové hudby moravských regionu, zejména Slovácka a Lašska.
Autor sochy je Emil Hlavica.

Although it belongs to the generation of Czech modern music, its style is very original and original.
