This freestanding arch crosses the Athletic Access Road on the campus of Bishop Hendricken High School in Warwick, Rhode Island. The practice fields, baseball stadium, tennis and basketball courts, track and artificial turf football field, concessions stand and restroom building are located along the wide, tree-lined, and paved path.

The metal arch, its two posts, and gate have a black finish. Two square columns with light brown bricks topped by concrete support the span. The arch features a gold silhouette of an airborne hawk mounted to a disk at the curve's apex. The words "HAWK COUNTRY" stretch between parallel arcs on either side of the bird.
