"Seit Neustem wird auf Initiative der DJK Kruft/Kretz im Pfarrgarten an der Katholischen Pfarrkirche in Kruft zu festen Zeiten Boule gespielt. Am 28. März fanden sich zahlreiche Anhänger des Boule-Sport zusammen, um die dort angelegte Bouleanlage künftig mit Leben zu füllen. Gerhard Klein von der DJK Kruft/Kretz konnte neben den BouleInteressierten auch Manfred Butter und Reinald Kauer vom DJK-Diözesanverband und Karl-Heinz Montermann als Vertreter des verhinderten Pastors begrüßen. Ortsbürgermeister Rudolf Schneichel ließ es sich nicht nehmen, sich nach einem dienstlichen Besprechungstermin ebenfalls von der Begeisterungsfähigkeit seiner Krufter Bürger zu überzeugen. Nach einer kurzen Einführung durch Manfred Butter erklärte Reinald Kauer die Herkunft und Historie dieses französischen Nationalsports und erläuterte anschließend in Theorie und Praxis die Spielregeln. Danach waren alle Anwesenden aufgefordert, selbst die Kugeln in die Hand zu nehmen und den Umgang mit der dieser auszutesten. Im Rahmen der Aktion „Einfach gemeinsam–SportinKruft“hatteman schon festgestellt, dass Boule auch für Menschen mit Beeinträchtigungen bestens geeignet ist. So hofft man, dass der Inklusionsgedanke in Zukunft auch auf der Bouleanlage im Pfarrgarten weitergelebt wird. Am Ende eines sportlichen aber auch gemütlichen Beisammenseins vereinbarte man, sich künftig an jedem Donnerstag um 15 Uhr im Pfarrgarten zum Boule-Spiel zu treffen. Selbstverständlich besteht auch außerhalb dieses festen Termins die Möglichkeit, die Anlage für sportliche Aktivitäten zu nutzen."
