This is a simple war cemetery located directly next to the local cemetery, with only a small path between the two walls. There are numerous metal crosses depicting the names of the German soldiers, their jobs, and when they died.
There is are two large pits which hold the remains of over 1,000 German soldiers, over 900 of whom remain unidentified. The cemetery holds over 2,000 soldiers. There are a few scattered graves of units and officers. There are also three graves for Jewish soldiers who fell.
