Beacon in good state of repair. Can be reached from Montagu pass in about 90 mins or from the Outeniqua pass in about 3 hours. Fantastic views North and South. Clear views of Cradock peak and the four passes ( Cradock, Montagu, Outeniqua and the railway line ).

Ideally, you should try to take photos at the actual beacon location, but if that isn't possible (private property, terrain, etc), then photos taken from a distance are also welcome, especially if the beacon is visible in the photo.
